Making pictures of sunsets is a quite risky business. Sunsets are too standard targets for shooting pictures of the "beautiful nature". On the other hand, sunsets on Baikal are so nice and diverse that it is not very easy to refrain from making pics.

This picture and ones that follow are not the attempt to show the talent of a photo artist, but just a result of some experiment.

Every day I visited the shore and shot pictures: from almost the same spot, in the same direction, at about the same sunset time.

This lasted about a week (with one break for a couple of rainy days - the only thing that broke the purity of the experiment).

By the way, one artist complained to me that he had not managed to paint a good Baikal landscape: when you take the necessary color on your brush, Baikal immediately changes its own palette.
