A chapter “Dissolved Humic Substances: Interactions with Organisms” from the book “Encyclopedia of Inland Waters” (Oxford University) was introduced in our library. One of the authors of this work is Maxim Timofeev, Head of Laboratory “Problems of Biosystem Adaptation”, Scientific Research Institute of Biology at Irkutsk State University, member of REC “Baikal”.
