There was a REC "Baikal” seminar on April, 27th . N.M.Budnev, director of ISU applied physics of Research Institute gave a report titled "Baikal research in the frames of neutrino project".
Nikolai Mikhailovich’s report aroused an interest of scientists of different fields to the results of long-term scientific work fulfilled by neutrino project physicians. Technologies, that have been developed during the project, methods and devices allow to conduct long-term polyvalent monitoring of aquatic environment characteristic variations. With the help of this information one can make conclusions about both hydrophysical and hydrochemical processes development in the lake. The reporter underlined crucial significance of interdisciplinary cooperation. It was decided that the following seminar would be held as a special one, dedicated to report issue.
