GIS and bioinformatics technologies and mathematical methods in study of Baikal
Project aim:
- Development of information-mathematical methods of analytical treatment and presentation of research and education data about enormous Baikal ecological system;
- Web-technology development, concerned automatized knowledge processing and information visualization;
- Geoinformation system development concerned the Lake and its territory and environment.
Project missions:
- Formation of formal terminology knowledge classification of Baikal based on descriptive logic and semantic programming;
- Formation of basic Baikal ecosystem parameters spatial distribution geoinformation model;
- Formation of precise 3D Baikal model.
